BTC forming bottom akin to 2018 with one key difference: Bloomberg analyst

Bloomberg analyst Mike McGlone says Bitcoin is forming a bottom similar to how it looked prior to the 2019 bull run — but with one big difference.

Mike McGlone, a high-end commodities spot strategist at Bloomberg, thinks BTC may be forming a new "bottom" as it did before the 2019 bull market, but he points out that there is an important difference this time.

In an interview with data encryption blog Skinkins Melk on January 16, Magron made up lies that, unlike financial companies such as the 2018 Fed meeting, they were still tightening interest rates this time, along with "every central bank".

"at that time, the Fed meeting now began to loosen fiscal policy, and everyone held the bottom and went up, and then we ran into this situation in 2019," he said. "

"now they are actively tightening, so if you look at this, I can't be too excited about any sales market. Give him some time. From a macro point of view, yes, Bitcoin is really rising, "Magron added."

McGlone also warned that the BTC is likely not to see a surge in forecasts, and that higher interest rates will have a significant impact because of the interesting macroeconomic policy situation.

In his view, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index may fall below its 200-week moving average, which he thinks is another sign that a rebound in BTC prices may not happen quickly.

"liquidity is still sucked away, and if Nasdaq collapses, everything will collapse, and Bitcoin will be a part of it."

"I still think he's going to move on, so for me, that's our point of view," he added.

McGellon also stressed that the sales market has entered a "never before" natural environment. "We are bouncing back in a bear market in the stock market, while the Fed meeting said,'I'm really sorry, everyone took the wine bowl away, and we shouldn't give it to you."

He added: "We still feel that we are in the midst of the biggest macroeconomic policy adjustment at this moment. As far as the COVID-19 epidemic is concerned, we have just experienced an once-in-a-century event. We have carried out a landmark war in Europe, and we are making landmark changes to our political leadership."

"I mean, this is the era of returning to the Soviet Union, when there was only one leader and expected it to work politically."
