The prototype software allows players to earn Bitcoin by playing retro games.
According to a tweet posted by Zebedee founder Brad Moss on Feb. 12, playing vintage fashion games with BTC bonuses is likely to happen soon from a bar, convention or party near you. This software is temporarily called "Bit-Teno".
The tweet contains a video of someone playing Super Mario Brothers 3 on an old-fashioned small TV. The TV shows a QR code when it starts and requires payment in bitcoin. The game can only be run after you pay for a push.
When playing a game, a "SAT" electronic counter is displayed, which clearly measures the total number of Satoshis players have received in return so far. SAT is a company that can be divided into bitcoins at least, and each enterprise means 0.00000001 bitcoins. A timer counting down to zero from 90 seconds is also displayed on the display screen. When the timer reaches 00:00, the game is over and the new QR code is indicated. The statements at the bottom and top of the photo suggest that you can use a QR code to get SAT.
Moss pointed out in the post that the software will eventually "become a completely free retro fashion game bitcoin injector for nightclubs, conferences, parties and other places."
Cointelegraph contacted Moss to state how the software works. It can work on PC or other devices that can accept video sources, he said. The game itself is done through the true Nintendo Game vehicle Multimedia (NES) game system, but the video has been changed on the road to display SAT electronic counters and timers. The software tracks postures in the video to determine if gamers have collected coins and upgrades STS electronic counters each time they collect coins.
To provide financial support for paying wallets, nightclubs or clubs need to sign escrow wallets with Zebedee or LNbit, Moss said. The wallet is transmitted to the lightning network and achieves low transaction fees and fast payment.
Zebedee apps can also be found in Google Play stores and Apple's product app stores. Screenshots show that it has the functions of "online recharge" (savings) and "withdrawals" (withdrawals), which users can browse after the whole process of "know your customer" authentication.
Moss also explained how he came up with the idea of a pit bull-tendon. He said he tried to get people interested in bitcoin games at Bitcoin conferences, only to find that participants preferred to play games they already knew rather than games customized by "internal structure". Moss said he hopes the software will work with all games, not just Super Mario Brothers 3:
I look forward to allowing users to practice the software to recognize everything they may have in the game and eventually make it irrelevant to the game.
In the tweet showing the software, Moss indicated that the tweet had been shared 200 times, and he integrated Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with it. Since then, this tweet has long been shared.
MOSS has been a pioneer in this field since the birth of blockchain technology game interior space. In 2014, he foundedSarutobi is a game where players can collect bitcoins by manipulating a little monkey swinging in the jungle. Because long before the release of EverDreamSoft's Genesis spell,About a year after the release of the public beta version, Moss's "Sarutobi" has been called by some as the first blockchain technology game.
