Cross-border crypto scammers on the hit list for EU agencies

Europol and Eurojust, two EU agencies for law enforcement cooperation, joined authorities from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Germany and Serbia to investigate online investment fraud since June 2022.

By the end of 2022, fraudsters will fully turn into deceiving password investors, who are desperately trying to retain a year's losses. Since July 2022, an international law enforcement campaign by European government leaders has worked with password entrepreneurs and companies to crack down on cross-border e-commerce password fraud and discovered a criminal Internet run by a customer service center.

European Union National Inspection Cooperation platform Europol and the European judiciary have been working with the governments of Lithuania, Estonia, Germany and Portugal since June 2022 to investigate online investment fraud. The survey found a criminal Internet that caused more than $2.1 million in losses-usually by German investors.

According to the European police agency, fraudsters are tempted by victims from countries such as Germany, Germany, Switzerland, Australia and Australia to invest in unauthentic password financing plans and websites. This discovery in turn led to the establishment of a research group dedicated to conducting cross-border e-commerce investigations, in particular.

Fraudsters open up markets in four customer service centres in Eastern European countries, tempting potential victims by offering rich profits for small investments, prompting them to invest in larger projects. Taking into account the total number of unreported cases, the European police suspect that the total loss could reach tens of millions of euros.

In the survey, 261 people-two in Lithuania, two in Estonia, three in Germany and 214 in Portugal-were interrogated, searched 22 addresses in EU countries and arrested 30 people. The Public Security Bureau also seized hardware wallets, cash, cars, electronic products and documents.

Although fraudsters once again impersonate government departments and enterprises, the password community has always maintained an active way to weaken fraudsters according to active warning publicity and protective repair of culture and education by network hackers.

According to a result of the system vulnerability reward and security service platform Immunefi, the password field lost a total of $3.9 billion in 2022.

Of all the losses, 95.6% were caused by cyber hackers, while fraud, fraud and blanket pulling accounted for the remaining 4.4%. BNB Chain and Etherum are highly targeted blockchain technologies.

CEO Russell Amado, a human immune system company, proposes to "actively identify vulnerabilities in the processing system" to protect the community and restore recognition among investors.
