The inaugural collection takes inspiration from vintage pieces in the Nike collaborator's own closet.
Xiao Zhan Wasserspoon, an indoor designer and collector of casual shoes in Los Angeles, released its first line of data wearable devices based on its new virtual goods neighborhood MNTGE.
The 3100 collection, inspired by retro fashion works in Wotherspoon's personnel archives, will "combine the world of the future with the global inspiration of the past".
This project will be announced for holders of irreplaceable token (NFT) coins pass on the first day of release in December 2022. So far, sales of the collection have exceeded 773 ETH ($1.1 million), with a current cost of 0.45 ETH ($735).
The owner of the first day can build two distinctive NFT digital suitcases: one is a 3D digital version of clothing, and the other is a 3D ink bottle. There are four digital retro fashion smart wearable designs and three ink bottles customized by Wtherspoon, which will allow the holder to customize his wearable device. The project also has a scarcity layer embedded, and it is likely in the future to choose whether to maintain the status quo of NFT or to combine them to create a new, rarer NFT.
MNTGE plans to set up a physical line MNTGE sales market next year, featuring vintage clothing planned by Wasserspoon. Wasserspoon founded the second round of the vintage clothing chain and collaborated with major sneaker brands such as NIKE, Asics and adidas. The holder of the MNTGE pass is undoubtedly the first person to enter the store.
Wasserspoon borrows from other Web2 designers and well-known brands, which are slowly introducing their designs to Web3. Well-known brands such as NIKE (Nike), Dolce&Gabbana, Tiffany, Gucci and adidas (Adidas) have already released digital designs for illusory worlds and other areas, while interior designer Rebecca Minkoff has released a number of NFT products to salute its iconic bags.
